Salesforce consulting & development · Quad Cities, IL — local & remote nationwide

A Salesforce consultant and developer — set it up, fix it, build it out, or put an agent in it.

Need Salesforce set up right, cleaned up, or made to do the one thing it won't? You get senior Salesforce consulting and development — Quad Cities in person, remote across the US. We scope the work on a free call and send back a fixed-price quote. No hourly meter, no offshore ticket queue, no account manager between you and the people doing the work.

Consulting and development — under one roof

Most businesses searching for "Salesforce help" don't need a 300-person consultancy and the overhead that rides along with it. They need a partner who can scope the problem, set up or clean up Salesforce, write real code when the point-and-click tools won't cut it, and stick around to keep it running. That's Unlock Integrations: a boutique Salesforce studio where the people who scope your project are the people who build it — no handoff to a junior bench, no account manager in between. Behind it is 15+ years of software engineering and deep, hands-on Salesforce experience, based in the Quad Cities and serving clients nationwide.

What we help with

Whether Salesforce is brand new, a tangled mess, or just missing the one thing your business needs — here's where a senior consultant-plus-developer earns their keep.

New to Salesforce? Get the setup right the first time.

Salesforce is powerful — which is a polite way of saying it's easy to set up badly. A rushed job leaves you with duplicate records, automations nobody understands, and a team that quietly drifts back to spreadsheets. A Quick Start stands up Sales Cloud or Service Cloud cleanly — your core objects, the automations that matter, the reports your team will actually open, and training so it sticks.

Inherited a mess? Start with a health check.

If you took over a Salesforce that's grown into a tangle — or you're paying every month and not sure you're getting your money's worth — start with a Health Check. We audit the setup and hand you a prioritized report and roadmap you keep: what's broken, what's risky, what to fix first, and what each fix takes. Then you can hand us the fixes or keep us on call for the small stuff.

Automate the manual steps eating your team's day.

Sometimes the problem isn't setup — it's that your team is still doing by hand what the system should do for them. That's where being a developer, not just a consultant, earns its keep. We build automations and Flows that handle routing, reminders, approvals, handoffs, and repetitive data entry — and custom Apex and Lightning Web Components come in when the point-and-click tools hit a wall.

Ready for Agentforce? Get the org ready first.

Agentforce is genuinely useful when it's grounded in clean data, given tightly-scoped actions, and fenced in by real permissions — and a liability when it's switched on over a messy org. We build agents the careful way: topics scoped tight, actions in Flow and Apex, grounding on records you can trust, and testing before a customer ever sees it. If your org isn't ready, we'll tell you that instead of selling you a build. See what an Agentforce build takes →

Connect Salesforce to the tools you already run.

Your data shouldn't live in five disconnected places. We connect Salesforce to the other software you already run — accounting like QuickBooks, your website, support tools, payments, ERP — so a record entered once shows up everywhere it should, automatically. No more re-typing the same customer into four systems and hoping they stay in sync.

How an engagement works

Three steps, no mystery. You'll know the scope, the price, and the timeline before anything begins.

01

Call

A free scoping call — or start with the free org assessment. We listen, ask the annoying questions, and tell you honestly whether Salesforce is even the right tool.

02

Plan

You get a written, fixed-price scope: what we'll build, what it costs, how long it takes, and what "done" means. No hourly meter, no open-ended retainer to start.

03

Launch

Built in your sandbox, tested, deployed, and documented — then handed over with training. It's your org, your code, your documentation. We stay on only if you want us to.

Salesforce packages, priced by scope

Named packages, fixed prices. Every engagement is quoted after a free scoping call — so the number reflects your org, not a rate card, and you know the whole cost before anything begins.

Salesforce Health Check / Org Audit

Flat fee — credits toward any build

Something feels off — slow, messy, half-built automations nobody trusts? We go through your Salesforce and hand back a prioritized report: what's broken, what's risky, and what's worth fixing first, plus a roadmap you own and keep. The honest, low-risk way to start — and the fee credits in full toward any build you hire us for.

Salesforce Quick Start

Fixed price after scoping

A clean new setup or a full rebuild on Sales Cloud or Service Cloud — core objects, the automations you actually need, reports and dashboards your team will use, and training. Left live, usable, and yours.

Flow / Automation Build

Priced per workflow

Automate the manual steps eating your team's day — approvals, handoffs, reminders, record updates someone's doing by hand right now. Priced per workflow, so you can start with the one that hurts most.

Custom Development

Fixed price after scoping

When standard config can't do it: custom Apex and Lightning Web Components, scoped to a fixed price. Real engineering for the parts of your process that don't fit in a dropdown — no open-ended meter.

Agentforce Readiness / Deployment

Quoted after scoping

An AI agent living in your org — but only if your data can carry one. Start with a Readiness review (what your org supports, which use cases pay off, what to fix first) or go straight to a full build. Priced per org because scope depends entirely on the state of your data. See what's involved →

Integration

Fixed price per connection

Connect Salesforce to the tools you already run — accounting, payments, email, your website, support, ERP — so data flows automatically instead of getting re-typed into four systems and drifting out of sync.

Managed Salesforce Support — optional

Monthly — sized to fit

Optional help once things are built — senior admin and developer hours on call for user changes, new reports, cleanup, and the occasional "can you make it do this?" Project work leads; this is here if you want us on call after the build, not the default.

Not sure Salesforce is even the right tool? We'll tell you straight.

Here's the conflict every Salesforce consultancy has and won't mention: they only sell Salesforce. If it's overkill for your team, they'll never say so — it's the only thing they build, so the answer to "should we buy more?" is always yes. We're different for a simple reason: we're a software studio first, and we also build custom software from scratch. So we have zero reason to force a platform priced by the seat onto a five-person team that needs something simpler. On the free call we'll tell you honestly — if Salesforce is the right call, we'll set it up properly and make it hum; if a lighter, purpose-built system fits your business and budget better, we'll say that, and we can build that instead. This isn't anti-Salesforce; it's a genuinely great platform when it fits. It's just that "does it fit?" deserves an honest answer, and we're one of the few shops with no reason to fudge it. That's the whole moat: trust.

Local in the Quad Cities, remote everywhere else.

We're based in the Quad Cities — Davenport, Bettendorf, Moline, Rock Island — so if you're local, we can sit down face to face and you get a Salesforce consultant in your time zone who actually picks up the phone. Everything's built remotely too: screen-share, sign-off, ship. So it makes no difference whether you're around the corner in the QC, up in Chicago, over in Des Moines, or anywhere else in the country — same senior work, no travel fees, no geography tax.

Salesforce questions, answered.

How much does it cost to set up Salesforce for a small business?

It depends on the state of your org and what you need it to do — which is exactly why we don't publish a rate card. Every project is a fixed price, quoted after a free scoping call: you know the whole number before anything begins, and there's no hourly meter running. If you want a feel for where you stand first, the free org assessment takes about five minutes.

How does your pricing work?

Fixed price, quoted after a free scoping call. We scope the work in writing — what we'll build, how long it takes, and what "done" means — and you approve the whole number before we start. No surprise timesheets, no open-ended retainer to begin. Ongoing support is optional and sized to fit after the build.

Do I need a Salesforce consultant or a Salesforce developer?

For most businesses the honest answer is "both, occasionally" — which is exactly why working with a studio that does both makes sense. Setup, cleanup, and strategy are consultant work; automations, custom code, and integrations are developer work. You get both under one roof instead of paying two firms to coordinate on your dime.

Can you fix or clean up the Salesforce we already have?

Yes — that's what the Health Check is for. We go through your Salesforce, find what's broken, bloated, or abandoned, and give you a prioritized plan to fix it, plus a roadmap you keep. If you decide to have us do the fixes, the audit fee comes right off the top of that work, so it's never money down the drain.

What's the difference between the Health Check and the Quick Start?

The Health Check is a diagnosis — we audit your existing Salesforce and hand you a prioritized findings-and-roadmap report you own. The Quick Start is a build — a clean setup or rebuild that leaves you live and trained. Not sure which you need? Start with the Health Check; it's credited toward the build if you move forward.

How long does a Salesforce implementation take?

It depends on scope, but a typical Quick Start runs a few weeks from scoping call to trained-and-live — not months. A single automation is quicker; a full build takes longer. Because the price and scope are locked before we start, you're not paying for a timeline that quietly stretches, and we'll flag anything that could move it.

Do you work remotely, or do you have to be local?

Both. We're based in the Quad Cities and glad to meet local businesses in person, but Salesforce work is done in the browser, so most of it happens remotely and we serve clients nationwide the same way — same senior developer, same fixed pricing, same honest scoping. Local or remote, there are never travel fees.

Are you a certified Salesforce partner?

No — and we'd rather be honest about it than pad a badge wall. We're an independent studio, not a Registered Salesforce Partner, and we don't lead with badges. What you get instead is a senior developer with 15+ years in software and deep hands-on Salesforce experience doing the work directly, start to finish. If certified-partner status is a hard requirement on your end, tell us on the call and we'll be straight about fit.

What if Salesforce isn't the right fit for my business?

Then we'll tell you. Because we also build custom software, we're not locked into selling you Salesforce. If a lighter, cheaper custom system fits your business better, we'll say so — and we can build that instead. If Salesforce is genuinely the right call, we'll set it up properly. The free scoping call exists to figure out which one you are, with no pressure to land on the answer that pays us more.

Tell us what Salesforce needs to do.

Book a free scoping call. Describe the problem — a messy org, a setup from scratch, an automation or integration you need — and we'll tell you honestly whether Salesforce is the answer, then send a fixed-price quote. No hourly meter, no obligation, and you talk to the senior developer who'd actually do the work.
